Located in the High Street, Codicote Butchers as it has been known for the past 7 years has been around in its earliest inception since 1922. The current proprieter, John Sarling has been there since 1982.

John has been a butcher all his life and is well known in the village of Codicote for providing expert advice as well as a wide range of excellent meat, poultry and game to discerning customers from all over hertfordshire and beyond!

At Codicote Butchers we offer the finest British meat from around the UK. We’ll give you exactly what you want and tell you where it came from.

We supply meat, poultry and game to a number of restaurants in Hertfordshire including The Greyhound pub in St. Ippolyts, The Red Lion in Preston and The Brightstar in Peters Green.
